1. Commitment to Tribal Privacy & Sensitive Personal Data
AdivasiRista.com recognizes that information regarding tribal community (caste / lineage) and indigenous religious beliefs (Sarna Dharam, Sari Dharam, Adi Dharam, Gondi, etc.) constitutes sensitive personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023. We collect this information solely with your explicit consent during profile creation to facilitate respectful cultural matchmaking.
2. Government Identity Verification (Aadhaar Act & Puttaswamy Compliance)
In accordance with the Supreme Court's Puttaswamy ruling and the provisions of the Aadhaar Act:
- AdivasiRista.com does not collect, request, or store raw 12-digit Aadhaar numbers in text format.
- Users upload a photo/scan of any government-issued ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN Card, or Driving Licence) solely as evidence of genuine identity.
- Uploaded document images are encrypted at rest with restricted access granted only to verified administrative personnel for manual approval.
- Only a verification status (
verified/pending/rejected) is recorded on the candidate's public profile.
3. Photo Shielding & Tiered Access Gating
To protect female and male candidates against unauthorized harvesting of personal photos and phone numbers:
- Unauthenticated visitors and free/unpaid users can only view frosted/blurred profile photos.
- Mobile contact numbers and direct WhatsApp links are masked (e.g. +91 98XXX XXXXX) until unlocked by an active paid subscriber.
4. Payment Information Security (PCI-DSS)
All subscription fees are processed directly through PCI-DSS certified Indian payment gateways (UPI, RuPay, Visa, Mastercard, Netbanking). AdivasiRista never stores bank account credentials, credit/debit card numbers, or CVVs on our servers.
